Excavating And Grading Labour Foreman/woman

Main duties:
This group performs some or all of the following duties:

• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of workers who operate cranes & constructions machines including Excavator, Backhoe, Bobcat, Dump Truck, Roller and construction, paving, drilling, and other similar heavy equipment
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers
• Preparation of work time table for the workers
• Requisition of materials and supplies
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity
• Train or arrange for training of workers
• Assisting the Manager in hiring temporary workers / labours for seasonal jobs
• Preparing day to day site reports
• May also supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of related apprentices, helpers and labourers.

Nice to have:

• Ability to read CAD drawings would be an asset.

• Languages : English Hindi Panjabi; Punjabi

Education:

Secondary (high) school graduation certi:cate or equivalent experience
