Location: Kitchener, ON

Salary: $18 per hour for 40 hours weekly

Summary:

MEI KING is a Chinese Restaurant located in Kitchener, ON. We are currently hiring a full-time and permanent head chef.  

 

Job Requirements:

Security and Safety

Criminal record check

Languages:

English

Education

Completion of secondary school is required

Experience

5 years or above

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Estimate food requirements and may estimate food and labour costs
• Supervise activities of sous-chefs, cooks and other kitchen workers
• Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
• Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
• May prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions
• Control and direct the food preparation process
