The principals of Fraser Plastics Ltd. are experienced manufacturing businessmen and women who have developed their process gradually to meet the growing demand for an effective grinding, washing, and extruding processing facility in the Pacific Northwest. The plant is located in the Albion Industrial area of Maple Ridge.


The company’s success in attracting multi-national and domestic end-users, coupled with its acquisition of a fleet of tanker railcars to service the plant, resulted in notable growth and has allowed us to employ and provide work for Millwrights, Plant Maintenance Electricians, Supervisors (Plastic Products Manufacturing), Yard Supervisors (Shipping and Receiving), Extruder Operators, Sorters (Plastics Product Manufacturing), Wash Line Operators, Truck Drivers and other workers.


Fraser Plastics processes post-consumer and post-industrial plastic, and sells plastic pellets, washed/regrind flakes and baled plastic. We are currently looking for an energetic, organized and experienced Plastic Products Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Plastic Products Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for monitoring, coordinating and scheduling activities of wash-line operators such as loading wash line with feedstock, supplying washed material to the extruder lines, inspect material for clumps or contamination, and others. The Supervisor will also be expected to fulfill other management responsibilities such as hiring and training.

Job Description and Duties:

  • Monitor, supervise, and schedule daily tasks of Wash Line Operators
  • Assess requirements for materials and supplies
  • Produce reports of production, quality and staff performance as required.
  • Monitor department productivity and product quality, as well as recommend measures to improve if needed.
  • Establish methods to meet deadlines and improve productivity, as well as coordinating with other departments.
  • Train Wash Line Operators in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
  • Ensure that safety procedures are being well followed.
  • Resolve and report any problems or hazards following company protocol
  • Hiring and training of workers.
  • Set up machines and equipment, troubleshoot machinery and report any maintenance issues.


Terms of Employment:
 Permanent Full Time, Long Term


Hours of Work: 
40 hours per week 

Wages:  $28.00 per hour 

Overtime: One and one-half times the regular wage rate as per provincial regulations 

Benefits Package: 

  • Insurance from Workplace Safety and Insurance Board covered by employer
  • Vacation pay as per provincial regulations will be paid each payday on a semi-monthly basis

Education, Experience and Language Requirements:

  • Completion of Secondary School is an asset
  • Some experience in Plastics Manufacturing or a related field is required
  • Able to speak, write, read and understand English
