Food Service Supervisor

Subway located at 2136 Burnhamthorpe Rd. W, Mississauga, ON, Canada L5L 5Z5 is looking to fulfill 2 full time permanent position for Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6311).

The Food Service Supervisor will perform the following duties:

Provide supervision, tasks coordination and support to the staff.
Prepare staff weekly schedules.
May assist management with screening of new applications is require.
Ensure that food preparation meets the quality standards.
Supervision of inventory control, maintenance of records of stocks, prepare orders, sales contract and prevention of unnecessary wastage. Supervision of delivery of ingredients, supplies and goods ordered on regular basis.
Train new hires and ensure workplace safety, cleanliness and hygiene measures are followed by all employees.
Estimate and order ingredients and supplies.
Provide fast and friendly service to the clients.
Resolve work related problems and grievances and perform other duties as required.

The right candidate should have the following skills:

Completion of secondary School
Minimum one year of experience in related field.
May require to work on flexible schedule: early mornings, late evenings weekends and holidays.
Ability to communicate well with customers and co-workers.
Must be punctual, reliable and comfortable to work in fast pace environment.

Wages offered : $15.00/hour for 37.5 hours a week.
