- Specific Skills:
- Set up machines and equipment; Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies; Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality; Prepare production and other reports; Establish methods to meet work schedules; Establish work schedules; Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies; Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers
- Business Equipment and Computer Applications:
- MS Excel; MS Word; MS Outlook
- Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs); Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
- Ability to supervise: 3-4 ppeople, In-shop
- Sewing machine operators; Fabric, fur and leather cutters
- Security and Safety: Basic security clearance
- Work Site Environment: Noisy
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
- Repetitive tasks; Attention to detail; Hand-eye co-ordination; Ability to distinguish between colours; Sitting; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Standing for extended periods; Bending, crouching, kneeling
- Work Schedule: 35 hours per week. During high season time the worker may be asked to work flexible hours of a 35-hour week to meet the schedules.
