Salary: $25.00 hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week

Job Requirements
•Language: English
•Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
•Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
•Work Setting: Supermarket and meat department; Supermarket/ grocery store
•Workers Supervised: Retail salesperson and sales clerks; Grocery clerks and shelf stockers; cashiers
•Transportation/ Travel Information: Pubic transportaion is available
•Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; work under pressure; attention to detail; combination of sitting, standing, walking; standing for extended periods; tight deadlines
•Ability to Supervise: 3-4 people
•Work Location Information: On site customer service, urban area
•Personal Suitability: effective interpersonal skills, flexibiity, accurate, team player, excellenct oral communication, client focus, reliability, organized
Job Duties:
•Perform Key holding duties like opening and closing of grocery store and perform store opening/closing/reporting duties as appropriate for shift being handled
•Oversee overall upkeep and cleanliness of the store
•Ensure a clean and welcoming environment is maintained at all times in order to promote store image.
•Ensure maintenance of the visual standards and image of the store including store displays and signage
•Supervise staff performance; assign duties; explain responsibilities; and workstations when necessary
•Schedule staff to ensure all shifts are covered.
•Maintain a cheerful, welcoming, and helpful mannerism while greeting guests.
•Maintain an up-to-date understanding of products (including new products and promotions) and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (including time and quality expectations);
•Supervise Cash-In/Cash-out procedures verifying the shift opening balance and accounting for all shift incomes and expenditures and promptly process all the necessary paperwork.
•Train newer or less experienced employees and ensure they know their responsibilities and train all employees regarding new and/or promotional products.
•Resolve complaints, handle conflicts, and professionally interact with a variety of stakeholders such as upper-management, employees, and customers.
•Maintain a professional appearance at all times and adhere to professional grooming standards
•Cover for the workers supervised, in their absence
