Family in Mississauga is looking for an energetic, loving, honest, caring and hardworking Child CareGiver for his child 11 years suffering with Autisim.

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
 Salary: $19 / hour and 32 hours / week
 Location: Mississauga, Ontario. L4Y 2T8

Experience and skills:

  • Completion of High School or Equivalent with course in Child care will be an asset. 
  • No smoking is allowed in or around our house and we seek strictly a non-smoking person.
  • Work Setting: Employer’s home
  • Language: English
  • Experience in childcare would be an asset

WAGES & BENEFITS:

  • Full time and permanent position, works 40 hrs. per week
  • Overtime: 1.5 times employee's regular wage after 8 hours a day of work
  • Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. (Note: This is not a condition of employment.)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide care, behavioral support, and homework help after school, during school breaks and summer. Reporting and collecting data on the progress and abilities of the child. Help in overcoming his disability by assisting him always. Take the child to the park and recreational places. Accompany parents for the check up of the child with the doctor. Cook and make the child have food. Do light cleaning and laundary related with the child. Keep the area clean to avoild falls and slips. Engage the child in the activities as advised by the parents and the doctor. Tactfull enough to manage the needs of the child and keeping full care of the health and safety of the child at all times.
