Food Service Supervisor

We are looking for a Full- time Food Service Supervisor to work for our company and be a part of our growth.

Hours: 35 - 40 hours/ week

Salary- $16.50/hr

Location: 1235 Fairview St, Burlington, ON L7S 2H9

Duties:

• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion, and serve food.
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
• Establish work schedules and procedures.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
• Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures.
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• Assist in the development of policies, procedures, and budgets.

Requirements:

• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess interpersonal skills and excellent oral communication.
• Able to stand and walk for long and extended periods.
• Proactive in problem-solving and a strong team-player.
• Ability to supervise 1-2 people.
• Availability should be flexible.

Education:

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management, or related discipline would be an asset.

Experience:

1 year to less than 2 years
