General Construction Supervisor

Permanent Position: General Construction Supervisor (NOC: 7302)

Terms of Employment:  Permanent, Full Time (Overtime, weekend if required)

Wage Rate:  $35.00 - $36.00/Hourly, 32 - 40 per week

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Main Office: 968 E 53 Ave, Vancouver, BC, V5X 1J6

Education: High School required, College diploma an asset.

Experience: 2-3 Years of relevant experience

Language: English

Job Duties:

• Train new hiring workers.
• Read blueprints and drawings.
• Oversee all constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Select tools, materials, equipment, and track inventory.
• Meet contractual conditions of performance.
• Review the work progress and prepare work, performance reports etc.
• Plan to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
• Co-ordinate with work and schedule activities.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.

Additional Skills: Work at heights, must be able to lift 23 lbs.
