Restaurant Manager

In 18 plus years of franchising, we have expanded to over 70 locations across Canada, with an aggressive national expansion now underway.

St. Louis Bar and Grill is looking for a permanent full-time Restaurant Manager to start immediately at Orleans location in Ottawa.

Job duties and responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, direct, control, oversee and evaluate the daily operation
• Develop company operational, marketing, and business plans
• Work closely with mid management team, lead departmental managers with the goal of formulating, improving and accomplishing company policies and programs
• Recruit, interview, and hire senior departmental management team members
• Delegates responsibilities to management team, ensuring standard of operation and
• safety is maintained
• Prepare or co-ordinate the preparation and negotiation of contracts with food suppliers or other related suppliers
• Prepare or co-ordinate the preparation and negotiation arrangements with customers for banquets, such as facilities using
• Maintains and improves operations by formulating and implementing policies and
• standard operating procedures; implementing production, productivity, quality, and
• customer service standards
• Works with Departmental Managers to formulate Annual Operating Budget in determining projected revenues and expenses in line with the Business Plan
• Controls profit & loss, by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining
• inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions
• Provides accurate and realistic forecasts and updates
• Maintains fast, accurate service, positive guest relations, and ensures products are
• consistent with company quality standards
• Participate in collect and analyze customers' complaints or concerns and provide customer service
• Supervisor staff and evaluate their work performance
• Develop and modify marketing plans and implementation
• Ensures 100% customer satisfaction

Qualification requirements:

• A secondary school diploma
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience

Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

Wage: $38-40/hour
