Long Haul Truck Driver

Job Requirements:
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year to less
Documentation Knowledge: Driver logbook
Specific Skills:
Load and unload goods, Perform preventive maintenance, Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Perform brake adjustments, Perform emergency roadside repairs, Transport and handle dangerous goods, Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption, Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Receive and relay information to central dispatch, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Transportation/Travel Experience: Long-haul, Highway Driving, Mountain Driving.
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
