Job Title – Tow Truck Driver
Job Location - 1385 Shawson Dr, Mississauga, ON L4W 1C4
Salary - $22.50 to $24.50/hour
Language - English
Permanent employment, Full time 37.5 to 44 hours / week
Education - Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience – Experience an asset
Type of Trucking and Equipment- Tow truck
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
AZ class license
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities - Overtime required, physically demanding, Sitting
Job Requirements
- Oversee condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment,
- Perform brake adjustments, Perform emergency roadside repairs,
- Tow and drive safely at a slow speed according to the traffic and weather.
- Perform post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of the vehicle, Perform preventive maintenance
- Have basic mechanical skills such as changing tires, replacing batteries, or fixing broken wires.
- Provide Towing and Roadside assistance professionally.
- Ensure customer service by solving their problem and speaking in a polite manner.
- Recover the broken vehicle and transport the vehicle safely to the garage.
- Required to respond to the accident scene at any time of emergency.
