Required Cook (NOC 6322)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment; and
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.);
• Cook food in various utensils or grillers;
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen;
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly;
• Check quality of ingredients;
• Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages.

A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

Education: Completion of secondary school is required. Completion of a three-year program in cooking or food will be an asset.

Experience: 2 to 3 years of commercial cooking experience required
