Job duties:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Supervising and coordinating sales staff and cashiers
• Assigning sales workers to duties and preparing work schedules
• Authorizing payments and the return of merchandise
• Resolving issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
• Maintaining specified inventory and ordering merchandise
• Preparing reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
• Hiring and training or arranging for the training of new sales staff and monitoring and reporting on performance
• Ensuring the visual standards and image of the store are maintained, such as store displays, signage and cleanliness.
• May perform the same duties as workers supervised
• May perform key holding and managerial duties if required, such as opening and closing the store, managing escalated complaints, developing and implementing marketing strategies, and signing for deliveries.

Employment requirements:

• The Candidate must be high school graduate.
• Minimum 3 to 6 months of related experience will be required.
