Position Summary
I am looking for a Home Child Care Provider to care for my children. I am looking for someone who takes initiative and is a responsible individual that I can trust with my children. The main responsibilities of the role include supervising and caring for children, organizing activities, and taking children to and from school and appointments.

Salary: $15.20 / hour

Job Requirements:
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Security and Safety: Medical exam, Criminal record check, Reference required
Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks
Work Location Information: Work in employer's/client's home, Relocation costs covered by employer
Work Site Environment: Non-smoking, Scent free
Personal Suitability: Reliability, Organized, Flexibility, Excellent oral communication, Judgement
Additional Skills: Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Shop for food and household supplies, Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
Children's Ages: School age (6 - 12 years)
Experience with Special Needs Children: Children with allergies
Specific Skills:
Bathe, dress and feed infants and children, Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Take children to and from school and to appointments, Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, Organize, activities such as games and outings for children, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Supervise and care for children
Target Audience: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children
Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Work Setting: Employer's home
