Marketing Coordinator

You’re a marketing professional who is looking to take the next step in your career by leveraging your creative ideas in a fast-moving industry. As a Marketing Coordinator you will be a key member of Waterlily Retreat team. You will play an important role in the development and implementation of day-to-day marketing activities and content.

Duties and Responsibilites

  • Plan and implement marketing strategies, tactic programs and projects
  • Guide projects to develop the marketing plans that support member engagements
  • Analyze research and data to ensure marketing plans are informed by market insights
  • Provide recommendations to optimize project deliverables to meet marketing strategy and budget
  • Plan and oversee project communications from start to finish
  • Develop quarterly and annual marketing plans through creation of marketing campaign briefs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (senior managers and shareholders, Digital Marketing, external communication, and operations) to reflect marketing strategy, company image and the product (resorts and cottages) value propositions in all communications (print, email, app, and digital)
  • Support and develop a civic engagement strategy with an objective to increase Ontario-wide exposure
  • Provide administrative support to facilitate invoice processing, budgeting, and report preparation
  • In consultation with HR regarding sales team’s recruitment and training
  • Oversee quarterly marketing planning and analysis processes
  • Develop and Co-ordinate meetings, ceremonies and company’s events at the premise

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Professional, dependable, and reliable
  • Two-year college diploma in Marketing or Management
  • 1-2 years of experience marketing coordinator position, in real estate or property management industries preferably
  • Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong understanding of digital and print advertising platforms
  • Ability to foster and maintain positive working relationships in a professional manner
  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with teams to set budgetary goals, resolve problems, and make recommendations that enhance organizational effectiveness
  • Ability to set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details, data, information, and activities with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
  • Ability to work effectively with and relate to people of diverse cultures and backgrounds
