No experience is required. On-the-job training will be provided. Previous experience is an asset.

Valid passport, Medical exam, Driver’s validity license check, Driving record check (abstract)

Transportation/Travel Information:

Willing to travel cross-border, willing to travel for extended periods, Valid driver’s license, Willing to
travel overnight

Specific Skills:

Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, load and unload goods, tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Receive and relay information to central dispatch, Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled and fuel consumption, Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes, Perform pre-trip, end route, and post-trip inspection, and oversee all aspects of the vehicle, Perform brake adjustments, Pay and receive payments for goods, Perform emergency roadside repairs, Perform preventive maintenance Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Air Brakes Endorsement, Driver’s License (Class 1 or A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
