Computer Network Technician
ABOUT THE ROLE
A Computer Network Technician plays an important role in the smooth operations of a textile manufacturing business, requiring an understanding of textile machinery and warehouse automation systems. He is responsible for establishing, maintaining and optimizing the company’s computer networks across manufacturing and warehouse operations. The role involves making sure production, inventory, and office systems work well together so everything runs smoothly, and information stays accurate.

Education: Completion of a college diploma or technical program in computer science, network administration, or a related field
Work experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in network administration or technical support (required). Candidates with more relevant experience will be given priority in the selection process
Wages: $42.00/hour, Annual Salary 87,360

Job duties and required skills:
- Install, configure, and maintain LANs, WANs, wireless networks, and internet connectivity across production and warehouse zones
- Set up and troubleshoot network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and resolve connectivity issues
- Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, operating systems, and applications
- Implement cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems
- Conduct regular data backups and disaster recovery operations
- Provide technical support to staff and resolve network-related issues
- Maintain control records and document network configurations and updates
- Respond to requests for help and information from Website visitors and Website designers
Technical Skills:
- LAN/WAN configuration and maintenance
- Network hardware installation and troubleshooting

- Ability to coordinate with marketing, website designing and development teams
