Responsibilities
Tasks
Supervised, coordinated, and reviewed the work of automotive detailing staff engaged in cleaning, polishing, waxing, and interior/exterior vehicle reconditioning.
· Established daily work schedules, assigned tasks, and ensured efficient utilization of staff to meet service timelines and customer expectations.
· Inspected completed work to verify adherence to company quality standards, safety procedures, and client specifications.
· Trained staff in detailing techniques, operation of cleaning equipment, and proper use of chemicals in accordance with workplace safety regulations.
· Resolved work-related issues, provided technical guidance, and implemented corrective actions to maintain productivity and service quality.
· Coordinated detailing activities with mechanical/service departments to ensure workflow alignment with vehicle repair and maintenance schedules.
· Monitored inventory levels of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment, and authorized procurement to avoid operational disruptions.
· Prepared service quotations, maintained records of services performed, and tracked labour and material costs.
· Ensured compliance with occupational health and safety standards, and proper handling of hazardous materials.
