This position need stand for extended periods, work under pressure, team player, reliability

As cook, your duties may include:

  • Ensure that all food orders are complete to standard and within the specified time frame

  • Prepare for upcoming day in advance as directed by the Executive Chef

  • Ensure constant knowledge of the menu

  • Maintain daily schedule of work to ensure all food is prepared for presentation at the specified time of demand

  • Ensure all opening duties are completed at the start of the shift

  • Ensure all closing duties are completed at the end of each shift

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef

  • Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required

  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications

  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

  • Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation

  • Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes


Education Requirement: Secondary (High School)

Work Experience: 1 year to less than 7 months
