Kitchen supervisor

We are looking for a Full- time Kitchen Supervisor to work for our company and be a part of our growth.

Hours: 35- 45 hours/ week

Salary- $16.50/hr

Location: 432 The Queenway S, Keswick ON L4P 2E1

Duties:

• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
• Establish work schedules and procedures
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of food safety and public health practices
• Ability to execute and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask when required
• Ability to communicate effectively, respectfully and work well with others in a team based setting

Education:

• Completion of high school is required
• Completion of community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline would be an asset

Experience:

One year or less in the similar role would be an asset
