Job Description


  • Generating leads through networking, trade shows, and referrals.

  • Managing a balanced sales funnel, executing all steps of the sales process from target to close to continually secure new business.

  • Exceed all standards for prospecting calls, presentations, proposals, and closes.

  • Maintaining and growing new business in an assigned territory

  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction maintaining close contact with all customers  including follow-up on concerns or other issues

  • Provide a solution-based sales approach to drive new business across multiple lines of business; Logistics, FTL and LTL

  • Negotiate contracts and rate agreements

  • Develop, execute, and monitor strategic and tactical goals to maximize sales, profit, and to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.

  • Provide documented activity reports of your sales efforts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis

  • Provide ongoing reporting and analysis, including: territory trending, sales reports/analysis, CRM reports, trade spending analysis, expense reports, etc

  • Follow all company policies, ethics, and company procedures.

  • Responsible for market research to support required  vision, roadmap, and requirements specific to each market this may include competitive analysis, market and technology trends, partner and customer requirements, analyst assessments, and planning meetings

  • Develop sales presentations, webinars, partner and customer presentations, case studies, white papers, and/or video presentations etc

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; review professional publications; establish personal networks; participate in trade Shows.

  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs

  • Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning

  • Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions

  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners to plan and execute co-marketing programs designed to generate leads for the partners, and strengthen the partner relationships

  • The VP Marketing will oversee our social media marketing as part of our overall integrated marketing initiatives, working with internal stakeholders to develop and publish relevant content to help drive brand awareness


  • Bachelor Degree with at least 5 years or more experience in managing marketing and sales function, preferably with a trucking or logistics company

  • Require the ability to have excellent written and verbal communication skills including comfort dealing with senior management, both internal and external.

  • Ability to logically communicate technical information and ideas.

  • Experience and success working independently, as well as with cross-functional teams

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

  • Require the ability budgetary responsibility approximately $500,001 - $1,500,000

  • Require the knowledge about business equipment and computer applications(MS Office)

  • Require the ability to supervise 3-4 people

  • Candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment; work under pressure; attention to detail; large workload and with tight deadlines.

Compensation and Hours

Salary $58.00 hourly for 35 hours per week
