Position Summary

Swift Management is seeking a motivated Public Relations Co-ordinator to join its team.  The main responsibilities of the role are to coordinate marketing and communications material for the company.  You will be the developing and implanting communications strategies as well as acting as the spokesperson for the company.

Job Title: Public Relations Co-ordinator

Positions Available: 1

Salary: $27.00 to $29.00 per hour for 30 hours per week

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Language: English

Start Date of Employment: As Soon As Possible

Vacation: 4% of gross salary in lieu of vacation time

Work Location: 540 Chester Road, Delta, BC V3M 5V8

Employment conditions: Must be available for morning and day shifts

Education: College/ CEGEP

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Ability to Supervise: Staff in various areas of responsibility

 

Job Description

  • Co-ordinate publicity events and promotions
  • Gather, research and prepare communications material
  • Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters, and other material
  • Act as spokesperson for an organization
  • Answer written and oral inquiries
  • Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys
  • Develop, implement and evaluate communication strategies and programs
  • Initiate and maintain contact with the media
  • Develop and organize workshops, meetings, and other events for publicity
  • Digital Marketing/Social Media experience
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Experience using SAP-based CRM systems desirable but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong client service orientation a must
  • Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
