Nirmal Nagpal dba Indian Fashion located at Unit # 104 -2580 Cedar Park Place Abbotsford, BC V2T 3S5 is looking for experienced and qualified tailors to join our team as soon as possible.
Job Duties:

·         Make made-to-measure garments according to customer and manufacturing specifications,

·         Fit, alter and repair garments as required,

·         Make, alter or re-style garments and accessories,

·         Operate sewing machines or sew by hand,

·         Select and modify commercial patterns to customers’ and clothing manufacturers’ specifications and fit,

·         Design patterns to fit measurements,

·         Mark, cut and sew fabric

Education:

·         Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required

·         Completion of college or other courses in tailoring or dressmaking will be an asset

Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience is required

Area of Specialization: Tailor

Area of Work Experience: Dressmaking, Repair, Tailoring, Alterations, Restyling, Designing

Type of Materials: Cotton, synthetic, Satin, Polyester, synthetic, Nylon, Velvet, or pile fabrics, Silk

Salary: $ 16.50 per hour for 40 Hours a week
