Job Responsibilities:

• Monitoring the logistics of the movement of goods, supplies and materials and ensuring that the goods, supplies and materials are transported and received on schedule.
• Ensuring the flow of goods and materials from point of origin to another or to the point of use or consumption.
• Establishing business relationship between the customers and the suppliers.
• Ensuring that the right product is delivered to the right place at the right time.
• Ensuring that the goods are safe and secure whilst transporting the goods.
• To ensure the smooth movement of goods from one location to another.
• Managing the execution, direction and coordination of all transportation matters within the organisation.
• Strategically planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services.
• Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers.
• Resolving any arising problems or complaints.
• Ensuring that all the transportation equipment and vehicles are in good working conditions.
• Supervising, coaching and training the transportation staff.
