Responsibilities

-Scale ingredients & Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders

-Bake mixed doughs and batters

-Frost and decorate cakes or other baked goods

-Ensure quality of products meets established standards

-Operate machinery

-Organize and maintain inventory

-Inspect kitchen and food service areas

Qualifications:  Education and Experience

-Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

-1 year to less than 2 years

-Proven experience as a Baker or similar role

-Knowledge of baking techniques and methods

-Ability to follow recipes accurately

-Familiarity with baking equipment and tools

-Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

-Excellent time management skills

-Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

-Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy bags of flour and other ingredients
