General Manager

Located in London/ON, Gotech Communications Inc. is currently looking for a General Manager to join their team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Determine and formulate policies and provide overall direction of the Company.
• Plan, direct and coordinate the Company’s financial activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency.
• Analyze operations to evaluate performance and determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement, or policy change.
• Direct, plan, and implement policies, objectives, and activities to ensure continuing operations to maximize returns on investments and to increase productivity.
• Prepare budgets for approval, including those for funding and implementation of programs.
• Responsible for ensuring proper staffing levels at each client location.
• Train and supervise the employees.

Required Education & Experience;

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in leading construction (drilling) projects;
• Ditch Witch Certified Training (HDD) is mandatory.
• High school graduation is mandatory
  • A (R) license is mandatory.
  • At least 5 years of drilling experience

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Blueprint reading skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to take initiative, use good judgment, demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and follow-up and carry multiple projects through to completion.
• Extensive practice in areas of construction management, construction practices, QA.

Pay Rate/ Salary: CAD$50 per hour
