Purchasing Specialist (Purchaser)

WKA Renovations Ltd., a construction company based in Regina, Saskatchewan, is currently seeking a full-time Purchasing Specialist (NOC 12102) to join our growing team.

Position: Purchasing Specialist(Purchaser)
Location: Regina, Saskatchewan
Salary: $37.00 per hour
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Job Duties:

• Purchase construction materials, equipment, and supplies required for company projects
• Evaluate suppliers and negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules
• Maintain inventory control and monitor purchasing activities
• Review and process purchase orders and invoices
• Coordinate with project managers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Research market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases
• Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and project requirements

Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary or higher education
• Education in business, supply chain, construction management, or related field is an asset
• Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations is an asset
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing-related software
