Position Summary

Children's Club and Art Academy is seeking highly motivated 2 Early Childhood Educator Workers (E.C.E.).  This role requires the development and implementation of child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children as well as observing and guiding the development of behaviors and habits.

Credentials: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate

Security: We require a criminal record check, Child abuse registry check, Medical exam

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Job Description

  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisor
  • Establish guidelines for behavior and assess the abilities, interests, and needs of children with parents/guardians and other staff members
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
