Ghunghat Fashions Ltd is an Indian clothing retail store which has been serving the community of Surrey for many years. We make custom outfits for any Indian occasions. We are looking to hire one full time, permanent tailor to join our team.

 

Vacancy: 1 Position, Full time

Position: Tailor (NOC 6342)

Salary: $19.75/Hourly for 40 hours per week

Start Date: As soon as possible

 

Job Duties:

• Operating sewing machines and sewing by hand
• Making made-to-measure garments according to preferences of customer and manufacturers specific needs
• Constructing, fitting, altering, repairing, and modifying garments / accessories as required
• Marking, cutting, and sewing fabric
• Selecting and modifying commercial patterns to customers and clothing manufacturers specifications and fit
• Develop and design patterns to fit measurements

 

Job Requirements:

• Languages: English

• Education: High school graduation certificate

• Work Experience: A minimum of 1 year of work experience as a tailor
